Course content
1. Introduction to colour management in printing workflow. 2. RIP and screening procedure, exposure units, CTP. 3. Inkjet printing technology. Principles, materials, printers. 4. Lightfastness and weather resistance of digital photographs and digital printouts. 5. Material printing. 6. Electrophotography. Principles, materials, printers. 7. Other digital printing technologies. 8. Ofset - physical and chemical processes, printing form, printing ink 9. Ofset - dampening solution, emulgation 10.Ofset - surface tension, Young equation, printing form wetting 11.Ofset - ink transfer, press, nip, Walker-Fetska equation, Tollennar equation, capillary pressure, ink penetration 12.Watterless ofset

Completion of courses Introduction to Printing Technology, Printing Machinery and Reproduction Processes in printing Technology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

Examination has test and oral parts. Gained knowledge is running tested 2 times in semester and/or at the end in written examination test. Oral examination is discussion about chosen query. Whole classification includes: Running tests or written examination test - 60 %, Oral examination - 40 %.
