Course content
|
Pedagogy as a science discipline. Development of educational principles. Educational reality: basic concepts and relationships. Educational processes, learning. The subject of education. The profession of the educator. Educational environment. The basics of didactics. Activating methods in didactics. The nurse in the role of the educator. Types of education. Basic assumptions of education. Education history. The method of education plan: goal, contents, knowledge, supplies. Organization of education lessons; the education program. The EUR model. Evaluating education, criteria for the evaluation of the educator and the learner. Alternative teaching methods used in education.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide students with information from the field of upbringing and education of the person and to acquaint them with principles of preparation of a bachelor work.
The student will be able to apply gained knowledge and skills to education in a health care institution and will master delivering a brief specialized presentation in a written and oral form.
