Course content
General and topographical anatomy of external genitalia, perineum, vagina, uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. Anatomical characteristics children's genitalia. Abdominal surgery. Vaginal surgery. Surgery of external genitalia. Endoscopy in gynaecology. Laparoscopy. Robotic surgery. Hysteroscopy. Acute abdomen in gynaecology. Conservative and radical approaches in oncological gynaecology. Surgery in urogynaecology. Ureteric stenting. Surgical therapy of pelvic floor disorder. Surgery supporting infertility treatment and assisted reproductive technologies. Surgical therapy during pregnancy. Surgery associated with pregnancy and delivery. Specifics of perioperative care in treatment of Obstetrics and Gynaecology patients. Operating room equipment and accessories in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to deepen the theoretical and practical knowledge of anatomy of female reproductive system and specific requirements of surgical treatment in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Students will orientate themselves in topographic anatomy of female reproductive system. Students will also get acquainted with selected surgical treatments in therapy of Obstetrics and Gynaecology patients
