Course content
|
The practical internship is implemented in the form of group excursions to selected social services and healthcare facilities in order to introduce students to the organisation, the target group, the services it provides and the work of a social worker or health and social worker. The excursions are complemented by practical workshops and seminars.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the practical internship is to develop students' professional competences, their reflection, self-reflection and critical thinking skills, to encourage further learning through learning objectives and activities within the internship.
During their practical internship, students acquire practical skills and they have the opportunity to confront theoretical knowledge about health and social work with its practical implementation.
