Course content
Risk factors for the development of malignant tumours in gynaecology. Principles of secondary prevention. Precancerosis and tumours of external and internal genital organs. Complex treatment of malignant tumours of reproductive organs. Breast illnesses. Patient surveillance and follow-up in oncology.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to gain knowledge and skills in the area of aetiology, diagnostics and treatment of gynaecological inflammation, sexually transmitted diseases, and non-malignant and malignant tumours of the genitals.
Students know the basics of urogynaecology, especially the issue of urinal inconstancy of women, but also other urological complications in the gynaecological practice. Students are able to provide midwifery care to women with gynaecological diseases. Students are able to create standard care plans and implement them into processes in midwifery with an emphasis on prevention and ethical decision-making. Students can apply the knowledge of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, psychology and ethics.
