Course content
Pedagogy as a scientific discipline. Development of pedagogical principles. Educational reality: basic concepts and relations. Educational processes, learning. The subject of education, the profession of an educator. Educational environment. Fundamentals of didactics. Activating didactic methods. Health and social worker in the role of an educator. Types of education. Basic assumptions of education. Educational history. Method of educational plan - aim, forms, methods, aids. Organization of educational lesson, educational program. EUR model. Evaluation of education. Alternative teaching methods used in education.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic information in the field of pedagogy, didactics and education.
Students apply the knowledge and experience gained in lectures into practice. Students are able to obtain an educational history. They are able to develop and apply an educational program for the healthy, ill, and handicapped at all developmental stages. Students successfully conduct an evaluation of the educational process.

Specified compulsory attendance in seminars and lectures. Passing a written test or an oral exam, or other conditions, as decided by the course guarantor. Completing given assignments.
