Course content
|
Professional experience individual takes place in medical facilities with a focus on internal, surgical, psychiatric, pediatric department (department of social care in hospitals, homes for children up to 3 years, children's centers, hospices, specialized medical centers, etc. ) - 40 hours / week. The student performs practical training in facilities providing social services and related services, and in healthcare facilities within 8 hours a day. The students continuously carries out specified performances, activities and case studies contained in " The notebook of activities, tasks and other professional activities of a health and social worker."

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of practical training is to develop individual professional skills of students, their ability to reflection and critical thinking, encourage further education. The aim is also to enable to gain practical skills and confront the theoretical concepts of health and social work with their practical implementation.
Students gain experience in social relations and ways of working in organizations providing social services and health and social work under supervision of an authorized employee of the organization.

Assessment methods and criteria

Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment
The fulfilment of compulsory 100% active participation in professional practice. Experienced practitioner´s written assessment. The student has duty to fulfil the course before the enrolment to the next grade.
