Course content
|
Introduction to the topic of movement disorders and physiotherapy. Milestones in the development of neuroscience and kinesiology relevant to physiotherapy. Physiotherapy in the concept of comprehensive rehabilitation. The most famous method - Vojtova, Bobath concept, Kabatova method, manual treatment, according to the Levite. Diagnosis appropriate to physiotherapy in childhood and adulthood. The use of physiotherapy in the work of the medical social worker. The use of yoga. Therapeutic physical education. Practicing proper breathing and breathing gymnastics. Handling with the client, positioning. Practical training of Vojtova method, Bobath concept, Kabatovy methods and manual treatment by the Levite. Therapeutic physical education. Practical training of handling with the client, positioning.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquire basic theoretical preview on the area of physiotherapy and its use in the context of working with clients in the social services, to learn the basic physiotherapy procedures and techniques.
Student applies practical skills for clients with various types of disabilities/handicaps.
