The phenomenon of homelessness. Counselling for the homeless and debt issues. Specifics of the Roma community. Social work in excluded localities. Introduction - discussion of a given topic, analysis of the current situation. Documentary film on the topic of homelessness. Visit to a facility for homeless people. Roma family and its importance for social work. Field social work in excluded localities.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the problems of social work with socially excluded groups.
Student knows the basic concepts in the subject. Student is versed in the current situation of the target group. He can apply appropriate methods and techniques of social work when working with socially excluded groups.
