The principles of communication. The theory of the Czech sign language. Practicing facial expressions, gesticulation and pantomime (model examples). Dactyl - two-handed, one-handed. Summary, fixation of the adoption of a manual character. Basics of Czech sign language - the family of the person. Basics of Czech sign language - verbs. Basics of Czech sign language - temporal data. Basics of Czech sign language - properties. Basics of Czech sign language - numerals and numbers. Basics of Czech sign language - work, school. Basics of Czech sign language - colours. Basics of Czech sign language - the human body. Conducting dialogue through the CSL. Group interview with the use of CSL. Samples of journals, literature, web pages in the CSL. Samples of the DVD in the CSE - fairy tales. A documentary about people with hearing disabilities. Examination of the conversations in sign language.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to improve the students communication level of with individuals with hearing disabilities.
The Student can apply the basics of Czech sign language and dactylology. Student has basic communication knowledge for a conversation with the target group.

Oral examination, Written examination
The fulfilment of compulsory attendance at lectures and seminars. Written test or oral exam fulfilment according to course guarantor decision.
