Course content
|
Introduction to the topic of criminology. The basic criminological directions and schools. Status, structure and dynamics of crime. The perpetrator of the crime. The victim of a crime. Criminological aspects of the criminal justice system. The prevention of crime. Youth crime and anti-youth. Selected types of crime and their specifics. Introduction into the issue. Mediation and probation. The presentation of essays on the subject of amnesty, youth crime, sentences, discussion over the given topics. The perpetrator and the victim of the crime. A visit to the prison.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to familiarize the learner with issues in social work with offenders - with the history, basic terminology, preventive activities.
Student knows the basic terminology of the subject, he/ she is versed in the history and the present, can apply theoretical information in practice.
