Course content |
Theory of the sign language (SL) and the principles of its use. One-hand and two-hand dactyl. The dactyl - summary, fixation of the acquired manual characters. Sign language - vocabulary. Conducting a dialogue using the SL according to a prepared script. Implementation of a short presentation using the SL. Situational scheme: demonstration of the use of the SL during various activities. Group discussion using the SL. Storytelling using the SL. Conducting a spontaneous dialogue using the SL.

Learning outcomes |
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students, at the theoretical level, with the essence and structure of the sign language and the dactyl. In practical terms, to transmit to students the basics of the sign language and the dactyl alphabet, as well as the ability to apply them in practice.
The student is familiar with the theory of the sign language and is able to practically apply a two-hand and one-hand dactyl and also the ability to conduct a simple dialogue in the sign language. |

Oral examination, Student performance assessment
Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the practicum sessions and seminars. Successful completion of an oral examination. |
