Course content
|
The lessons will be mostly spent by reading easy texts and practicing the following grammar: Passive. Future (type -sya). Nouns ending in consonant and various irregular nouns. Present and past participle. Conjugation of 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th and 9th verb classes. Composites (dvandva, avjajibhava, tatpurusa and bahuvrihi).

Learning outcomes
|
The objective of this course is to focus on nominal forms and verb classes without root affixes.
Mastering more difficult grammar will enable students to read more difficult drilling texts and easier passages from real texts.

Attendance during lesson is required (two absences are permitted; otherwise, homework compensation will be given). Credit is dependent on doing the homework for each lesson (forgetting one's homework is acceptable only twice, and the reasons have to be relevant) and on passing a written test at the end of the course.
