Course content
1. Photographs, introduction, history 2. The construction and function of the camera, scene modes, aperture, shutter, ISO 3. Measuring exposure, exposure correction, lighting, focus modes 4. Compositional rules, deph of field, motion, panning 5. Uploading to computer, metadata, keywords, ratings images, descriptions, EXIF 6. Bitmap, resolution, bit depth, format TIFF, JPEG, RAW, color management 7. Basic photo editing, exposure histogram, curves, brightness, contrast, white balance, cropping, golden ratio, horizon, colinearity, red eyes 8. Advanced photo editing, retouching, sharpening, cloning, selections, collage, HDR 9. Storage and archiving, presentation, selection, web galleries, HTML galleries, prints, books 10. Still life, technical photography, portrait / group, glamor / nude 11. Scenery, panorama, architecture, evening and night 12. Reportage, motion in photography, macro photography

The aim of the course is to teach students digital photography from the perspective of creating photographs, editing on a PC and publications.
