Working with the text editor Word, the principles of creating specialized documents, CSN 01 6910, ISO 690, ISO 80000 - 1 / 6th Specifics of specialized texts, their structure, creating mathematical equations. The integration of different objects in the text. Common problems with grammar in specialized texts. Working with Excel spreadsheet program, its capabilities and features. Evaluation of experimental data using a numerical tools (Solver). Solving problems analytically and numerically, the principles of numerical methods. Processing of some of the mathematical and database tasks. Computer networks, their operation, topology. Internet and its services. Language HTHL. Safety and protection of personal data.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Demonstration, Projection, Skills training, Laboratory work
Learning outcomes
The first third is focused on unifying the knowledge of students from different schools of different levels and further expanding knowledge in the field of information processing. The emphasis is on understanding the principles of working with data, their processing and storage. Another part is focused on working with specialized texts, rules and principles in their work incl. relevant ISO standards. As the current standard is used MS Word program. Attention is paid to the specifics of texts, such as writing equations and integrating different objects in scientific texts. Another section is devoted to work with technical data and their evaluation using a spreadsheet program Excel. Prefers to data processing using functions to solve mathematical problems analytically and numerically, the principles of function numerical evaluation methods. At the end the use of networks and the Internet for collecting, processing and storing information incl. potential risks is discussed.
Active usage PC. Ability disposition documents conformable with norms correct writing. Processing numerical and database exercises
Prerequisites
Student must have at least basic knowledge about text and tabular editors, database system and presentation programmes, obtained in previous studio on secondary school.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Didactic test

Attendance at seminars and lectures is mandatory. Perform all tasks assigned to exercise, in the absence of compensatory award in consultation with teachers. Written verification of knowledge of the range of subject matter in the 4th, 8th and 13 week of the semester. Assessment tests (collectively) min.50%. In the case of excused absence can test after the teacher complete replacement test. If results are insufficient progress tests, according to a midterm test (min. 50% success limit).
