Course content
Application of anthropological methods during field research.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Methods of individual activities, Skills training
  • Field research - 100 hours per semester
  • Writing a seminar paper - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The objective of the fieldwork, which follows the subject Methods of Fieldwork, is the application of different methods on particular research of urban environment or in a village, with the main emphasis placed on ethnic problems.
Students will gain the experience of a short-term field research, applying particular methods of social anthropology that enables them to carry an independent work during the next fieldwork.
