Course content
Depends on the progress of the group. There will be a text prepared for every lesson.

Learning outcomes
The goal of this course is to raise understanding of social-scientific texts written in English, to enlarge the vocabulary and lessen the fear of reading in foreign language. Skills gained in this course are a prerequisite for further study, when students get readings in English and participate at lectures in English.

Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment, Systematic monitoring

Regular participation and activity (reading texts at home), active work on student's language competence. Passing all the tests (during and at the end of the semester).
