The objective of the course is to (by studying particular films) partly cover the different attitudes to experimental film. The objective of the course is to acquire the basic knowledge on experimental film and shooting as well as the basics of the film language, based on explanation of terminology and its applied use.
Students will be able to use basic knowledge of experimental film and work with camera as well as the basics of film discourse based on the explanation of the concepts and their applied use. Film accepted a lot of these features and transformed them into a new shape, specific for the film. The choice of the films depended on the development of the film language but also on the use of various techniques, e.g. digital material. Abstract film, the first and second Avant-garde, pure film, structural film, etc.
