History of the non-profit sector in the Czech republic, philantrophy, charity. Principles of civil society, the role of the non-profit sector. Operation areas of non-profit organizations. Definition and character of non-profit organization. The non-profit principle. Conception VPO. Annual and life cycle of the non-profit organization Structure of the non-profit sector in the Czech republic. Volunteering in the non-profit organizations. Non-profit organizations and business sector. Non-profit organizations and the public administration. Media image of non-profit organizations.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to describe the role of the non-profit sector for creating civil society and inter-sector cooperation.
Students will intensify their knowledge of non-profit organizations functioning in practice, they will acquire orientation in terminology and they will be familiarized with basic principles of creating the partnership as a base of a stable community.
