Course content
Create graphics applications, tools and methods of GDI+ (MS Visual Studio, C# language). Raster image display and adjustment raster image. Vector defined base, vector graphics. Triangulation method. Cartographic display. Animation.

Learning outcomes
Aim of the course is to gain knowledge to create advanced graphics applications. Acquaint students with advanced techniques and algorithms of computer graphics. Acquiring knowledge for creating graphical applications in the development environment of MS Visual Studio using library GDI+ and C# language.
After finishing the course the student is able to create advanced graphical applications for display of raster and vector objects. Student is able develop graphics applications using MS Visual Studio, graphical means of GDI+ library and language C#. Student is able to implement more ambitious methods and algorithms of computer graphics.
Prerequisites
Assumed user knowledge of Microsoft Windows, knowledge of algorithm development and programming in a higher programming language. Also required is knowledge of creating GUI applications for Microsoft Windows operating system and knowledge of the basic principles of computer graphics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

Given assignment confirms that a student attended lessons to the extent required and fulfilled qualified requirements. Conditions for credit are: active work at exercises, min. 75% presence, one closing examination papers, student is successful if he/she obtains at minimum 50% of possible points.
