Course content
The student's work on a selected topic takes place mainly in the form of independent homework. In addition, consultations of the student with the supervisor of the diploma thesis or with other pedagogues or experts from practice are expected in the total extent of approximately 14 hours per semester.

Learning outcomes
The aim is for the student to prove that not only has he mastered the subject matter to the required extent, but at the same time can use this knowledge for independent work in solving a selected professional problem. Students choose the topics of the works during the 5th semester from the offer presented by the faculty.

The professional content of the thesis is focused on one of the studied areas of IT and is specified in detail in the assignment of the diploma thesis, which the student will receive in the 5th semester.

The professional content of the thesis is focused on one of the studied areas of IT and is specified in detail in the assignment of the diploma thesis, which the student will receive at the beginning of the 5th semester. In general, the student first prepares a broader professional overview of the issues to which the work relates, describes the current world state and explains which part of the issue the work deals with. Then he will develop his own core work and in the end he will evaluate the results of the work and possible possibilities of further use of these results.
