Course content
Main terms. Characteristics and types of permeable performance. Principles of determining permeability in terms of railway network in the country. Permeable line tracks the performance of a method of its determination. Parallel and non-parallel train traffic and their importance for the permeable performance and its setting. Setting practical permeable performance for forward-looking flow diagrams. The method of probability and mathematical statistics. Inserting additional routes by using the theoretical frequency gaps. Throughput facilities or elements. The calculation of permeability collision point. Throughput station gridiron. Throughput tracks traffic and transport tracks with platform edge. Throughput marshalling equipment. Organization closures with respect to throughput. Context advanced transportation technologies (the periodic schedules, night jump etc.) with throughput. Alternative methods and possibilities of determining permeability (foreign methods, the use of simulation).

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to introduce capacity and permeability problem in rail traffic and useable methods from this area.
After passing the subject, the student is able to orientate in problem of capacity and permeability measuring methods in railway transport.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

For students of the full-time study participation in an examination is conditioned by obtaining a course credit. The obtained course credit confirms that the full-time student attended the lessons in the required amount, that he/she met the requirements for acquiring the course credit and may proceed to take the examination. Conditions for acquiring the course credit are stipulated by the teacher during the first week of the semester lecture period. The examination in the subject (its form, content and duration) is determined in compliance with the Study and Examination Regulations of the University of Pardubice.
