Course content
|
Introduction of the problem, definitions, basic terms. Emergency situations, characteristics, subdivision and their impact to the transport. Crisis management of the state and the legislation. Emergency planning. Fallback planning. Integrated rescue system, Army of the Czech Republic. Evacuation of people, animals and effects, evacuation transport. Flood protection, the impact of flood to transport. Crisis management in transport and communications range. The role of transport during war emergency situations. The role of transport during non-war emergency situations. Material and technical facility for solving of emergency situations in transport. The usage of other kinds of transport during emergency. Mathematical instruments as support for solving emergencies, software, information systems and technologies for emergency control. Spare time, subject summary.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to offer information about crisis management in the Czech Republic and about crisis management in department of transport.
After passing the subject, the student is able to orientate in problem of emergencies in transport. Student also knows the role of individual modes of transport during emergencies.
