Course content
|
Introduction - railway regulation of operation and traffic. Basic technical terms construction of railway track. Railway crossing, rail protection, technical-safety tests. Rail authorities, their function and sphere of action. Rail traffic operating regulations. Rail infrastructure operating regulations. Obligations rail-owner and railway infrastructure managers. Railway line capacity assignment. Payment system of access and using of railway infrastructure. Qualification and conditions for rail vehicles drivers. Health and qualification of other staff of carriers and infrastructure manager, accidents in rail traffic. Selected technical parameters of tracks.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to deepen knowledge of subject Technology and Control of Traffic - Rail Traffic in areas of legislation in point of view railway carriers and infrastructure manager.
After passing the subject, the student is able to orientate in problem of national and European laws and apply them into railway transport sphere.

Assessment methods and criteria

Written examination
The conditions of credit awarding advise teatcher to students during the firs lesson in teaching period. The examination (form, content, length) is given by "Study and Examination Order".
