Course content
Characteristic of railway network of PLK, principles of impose a fees for railroad infrastructure in Poland. Access to railway network and capacity in Austria. Access to railway network and capacity in Germany. Types of rail lines in passenger and freight transport. Specific conditions of access and impose a fees for railroad infrastructure in Switzerland. Controlling of raiway traffic (RT) in accordance with regulation SŽDC D1. Controlling of raiway traffic in accordance with regulation SŽDC D3 (Simplified control of rail traffic), conditions of operating with interlocking system "Radioblok". Railway signaling systems. Shunting in RT. Vehicles circulation and personal run in RT. Dispatcher managing in RT. Brake and braking in RT.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to deep knowledge from subject APD1P, namely in scope of access to the rail lines in foreign countries and to acquire knowledges about basic duties of carriers and railroad operators in accordance with their regulation.
After passing the subject, the student is able to orientate in problem of technique and technology in rail transport in cooperation with railroad operator.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination

The obtained course credit confirms that the full-time student attended the lessons in the required amount, that he/she met the requirements for acquiring the course credit and may proceed to take the examination. Conditions for acquiring the course credit are stipulated by the teacher during the first week of the semester lecture period. The course credit in the subject (its form, content and duration) is determined in compliance with the Study and Examination Regulations of the University of Pardubice."
