Introduction of DGT problem. Legislation and conditions of DGT. Classification of dangerous goods. Symbols and marking of dangerous goods. Packaging for transport and warehousing. Packaging tests. Rail DGT. Road DGT. Air DGT. Maritime DGT. Inland water DGT. Intermodal DGT. Information systems in DGT range. Disasters and leaks of dangerous goods. Fire prevention and first aid. Spare time, subject summary.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to offer information about dangerous goods transportation (DGT) problem in individual transport modes according to current legislation.
After passing the subject, the student is able to orientate in problem of packaging of dangerous goods in all transport modes. Student is able to operate information systems and software products used in dangerous goods transport sphere. Student should be also able to pass through Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor course.
