Course content

Introduction to study of the law, basic terms, the law and its origin. Selected chapters from constitutional law, civil and commercial law - particularly obligation law, financial law, social law and healthcare securing, labour law, trade law, civil procedure, criminal law, administrative and copyright law. General information about European law and EU institutional systems. Time allowance, summary.

Learning outcomes
|
To acquaint students with problematic of the law, it's creation and basic legislative norms in the Czech Republic. Student is led to orientation in the law of the Czech Republic and to independent study of legislative norms and their application in practice.
After passing, student is able to orient in particular essential norms of law.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination
By granting of credit it is approved that student of present form study has been attended in required measure of obligatory education and accomplished the requests that were set as conditions for granting. The conditions of granting are set by the teacher. The examination (form, content, duration) is set in accordance with Educational and Examinational Code of UPa.
