Course content
Introduction to problems, definitions and terms. Characteristic attributes and factors influencing CMT, CMT company organization and managing. Contingencies in CMT. Transport plan, links formation and leading, intervals, schedules and service tools. Space and time interconnection in CMT, controlling operativeness. Buildings and facilities in CMT. Means of transport and individual city transport subsystems. Means of transport and mass city transport subsystems. Technological attributes of mass transport vehicles. Mass transport support and preference. Direct and indirect tools for support and preference of mass transport. Informational tools for passengers and for service needs in CMT. Quality in CMT.

Learning outcomes
To acquaint students with particular areas within technology and operating city mass transport (CMT) with emphasis on respect to current state in practical operation.
After passing, student is able to characterise regularities of technology and operating of city mass transport and employ knowledge to solving practical tasks in this area.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

For students of the full-time study participation in an examination is conditioned by obtaining a course credit. The obtained course credit confirms that the full-time student attended the lessons in the required amount, that he/she met the requirements for acquiring the course credit and may proceed to take the examination. Conditions for acquiring the course credit are stipulated by the teacher during the first week of the semester lecture period. The examination in the subject (its form, content and duration) is determined in compliance with the Study and Examination Regulations of the University of Pardubice.
