Course content |
Basic characteristic of waterway transport. Kinds of watercrafts. Basic parts, parameters and attributes of vessels. Division and characteristic of waterways. Geography of inland waterways network. Harbours and docks. Operating of water transport, organization and controlling of transport activity. Crews, technological process of vessel work. State administration and legislative in water transport. Rules and the safety of sailing. Maritime transport.

The main goal of this course is to introduce actual problems of technology and operating of waterway transport to students.
After completing the course, student is informed about inland waterway transport as well as about basics of sea transport. |

Oral examination
By granting of credit it is approved that student of present form study has been attended in required measure of obligatory education and accomplished the requests that were set as conditions for granting.
