Course content
Status of modelling in planning and decision making. Model types and their structure. Dynamic systems. Mathematical models and their classification. Simulation models and their construction. Transport systems modelling. Transport network tasks. Location and allocation of attraction points tasks. Transport model examples - network technology model, transport elements assigning model, node mathematical model, node simulation model. Time allowance, summary.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with overview of often used technological processes and possibilities of their modelling.
Student is able to utilize given knowledge from this subject during thesis elaboration.
