Course content
The content of the course is individual consultations with the supervisor of the master thesis and the elaboration of the master thesis according to his instructions. The student continuously submits the individual parts of the work for assessment to the supervisor and incorporates his comments. He/she consults with the supervisor on the concept and structure of the work, methods used, cited literature, etc. Materials and instructions for the formal elaboration of the master thesis, its submission and defense, as well as information on the organization of final state examinations will be published via IS STAG.

  • Home preparation for classes - 100 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
The course is focused on independent student work under the guidance of the supervisor. The aim of the course is to lead students to the proper elaboration and defense of a master thesis.
The student can elaborate a master thesis on a given topic independently.
Prerequisites
Students can only register for the course if they have been assigned a master thesis topic in IS STAG. It is necessary to use the knowledge from the study and on the basis of it to prepare a master thesis on the assigned topic.

STUDENTS CAN ONLY REGISTER FOR THE COURSE IF THEY HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED A MASTER THESIS TOPIC IN IS STAG. The student is obliged to prepare his/her master thesis according to the instructions of the supervisor in accordance with the assignment. The master thesis must meet the basic formal requirements given by the directive of the University of Pardubice No. 7/2019, as amended by Appendix No. 2, which will be checked when submitting the thesis. The master thesis can be submitted only on the dates determined by the relevant department in accordance with the schedule of the academic year.
