Course content
1. Introduction, current conditions of operation in international transport. 2. Transport infrastructure and transport means for international transport. 3. Rail freight transportation by use of RFC corridors. 4. Road freight transportation. 5. Charging and conditions for access to rail transport. 6. Carrier's costs in international transportation by rail and road. 7. Technical specifications for interoperability. 8. Rights and obligations in the international passengers´ and freights´ transportation 9. Ecological aspects of the passengers and freight transport. 10. Case study of international freight transportation of large volume.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with selected problems and specifics of international road, rail, air and water transport in terms of national and international legislation (EU, third countries, world) incl. ecological aspects of individual transport modes.
The students have knowledge of the conditions of operation, rights and responsibilities and other aspects of international transport by using difrent modes of transport. The students gain knowledge about the conditions for operating road, rail, water and air transport, the conditions for transportation of goods and people, incl. rights and obligations from transport contracts as well as terms of the use of railway tracks in selected European countries incl. principle of pricings for the use of their. Part of the course is also dedicated to environmental aspects of international transport.
