Proposal of the parametres for the transport means. 6. Transport relations modeling. 7. Passenger railway transport - system, commercail lines, public service obligation (PSO). 8. Passenger railway transport - Fast Connections, high-speed transport. 9. Tenders in the regional and long haul railway transport. 10. Presentation of the project about tender for the railway line. 11. Financing of transport means. 12. Excursion.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to offer further information about rail transport operation - mainly form technical and technological area.
After passing the subject, the student has a wide range of knowledge from railway transport and railway traffic operation.

Prerequisites
|
Prerequisite for successful completion of the course is the completion of the course XBPD1 and XBPD2, in which students get acquainted with the basic principles of organizing rail transport, signals and brakes.

Assessment methods and criteria

The condition for participation in the exam is for students of the full-time form of study to obtain a credit. The credit confirms that the student participated at the lectures and seminars and met the requirements (prepared exercises, presented paper), which were conditional on the granting of credit, and can proceed to passing the exam. The conditions for granting the credit are determined by the teacher in the first week of the lecture period of the semester. The subject exam (written) for full-time and part-time form of study is determined in accordance with the UP Study and Examination Regulations.
