Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the study subject is to teach students about basic concepts of general system theory and about selected possibilities of optimization of transport systems. Focus is put on methods from the fields of decision-making and scheduling. The subject is concluded by basics of theory of information and coding.
Students are acquainted with concept of system approach and with selected methods applicable by identification, design, organisation, optimisation and operation of transport systems.

|
Basic overview about mathematics and operational research is presupposed.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written examination
The subject is concluded by an exam. Form, content and time duration are set according to study and exam regulation of the University of Pardubice. Personal attendance at exam - written form - 2 open questions, 1 example, 3 short questions. Time limit: 30 min.
