Course content
The role of waterway transport in transport and logistic chains. Legislation in inland waterway transport. Inland waterways. Technology in ports. Inland and sea vessels. Seaworthiness. Qualification of crew members. Inland waterways traffic. Inland vessels signaling, inland waterways marking. Traffic rules on inland waterways. Basics of maritime transport.

Learning outcomes
The main goal of the course is to explain the transport process in inland waterway transport.
