Safety in physical education and indoorcycling safety regulations. Bicycle setup, seat position setup, setup of handlebar position and distance between seat and handlebar. Indoorcycling equipment. Correct body posture, tread, group cycling. Technique of handlebar grip, group cycling. Load selection, group cycling. Sitting road, group cycling. Sitting climb, group cycling. Standing climb, group cycling. Introduction to training - extensive interval training, group cycling. Introduction to training - intensive interval training, group cycling. Introduction to training - repeated training, group cycling. Cycling race, group cycling.

Learning outcomes
|
The course objective is to carry on reasonable physical activity helping an individual to keep in good physical and mental condition. Students are acquainted with the exercises on stationary bicycles, regulations of safe cycling, bicycle adjustment, technical parameters, cycling equipment and the principles of indoor cycling training.
Students are required to acquire basic technique of stationary bicycle training, safety regulations, bicycle adjustment and basic contents of a training unit structure.

It's necessary that student will be in good health condition.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance assessment
85% active participation in lessons. Teacher tells the other requirements in the first week of semester.
