Course content
(A stay in a chosen institution - 80 hours.) The course is held in the fourth term via a two-week short-term attachment in a chosen institution. The student gains knowledge of ways, forms, particularities as well as practical principals of the management of an institution. The student will cooperate with a mentor who is an employee of an institution and is chosen on the basis of an agreement between the student, university (The University of Pardubice) and the institution. The student writes about the gained knowledge in a "diary about the practice" that he/she keeps. In the diary he/she is mostly focused on organizational, functional and structural aspects. At the end of APIN2 the student writes a brief report.

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to gain knowledge of management, operation and structure of an institution and to gain practical working skills.
The student becomes familiar with content and forms of work in a particular institution and gains a basic knowledge of ways, forms and particularities as well as practical principals of the management of an institution. The student writes about the gained knowledge in a "diary about the practice" that he/she keeps.

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment

Consultations with the guarantor of the course. Writing a final report about a short-term attachment and a diary which are the basis for the credit. The student is supposed to hand them in after the end of a short-term attachment to the guarantor of the course in KVV FF UPa. A reference of the student written by the institution.
