Course content
The development of psychosocial skills and self-knowledge. Verbal and non-verbal communication. Active listening. Team work. Video training. Negotiation; time management. The drill of specific situations. Social conflicts and their management. The skill to deal with stress; mental hygiene in one's personal and working life.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Skills training, Stimulating activities (simulation, games, drama)
  • Contact teaching - 26 hours per semester
  • Individual project - 28 hours per semester
  • Team project - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation of a presentation (report) - 20 hours per semester
  • Independent critical reading - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for a credit (assessment) - 18 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The objective of this course is to learn by practice the social skills and the development of self-knowledge.
Students of the pedagogic module will develop self-knowledge, self-confidence, communicative techniques, empathy, and the methods of self-presentation. They will be able to work in teams and hold various positions within a team when working on a given task. The seminars will be practically based.

Student performance assessment, Work-related product analysis, Student portfolio analysis

Credit is based on the attendance of seminars and practical tutorials, and a portfolio focusing on the given individual work and practical tutorials.
