Course content
Terminology, the meaning of problems, and a review of sources and literature. The development of the aims and content of the whole-life education. Documents on the whole-life education from the viewpoint of the OECD, the EU, and the Czech Republic (Memorandum of the whole-life education and conception for the development of human sources in the Czech Republic). The organization and structure of the whole-life education in the Czech Republic; regional possibilities. Educational programs in the EU and their usage (PHARE, ERASMUS, ESF). The perspectives of the whole-life education and "a society of knowledge".

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The objective of this course is to enable students to understand the development and contemporary state of problems of an idea and a conception of whole-life education in the world and in the Czech Republic. Students will become acquainted with the perspective development of problems and valid documents. It focuses on analysis of Czech as well as European documents and on their influence in usage.
The student will be able to understand the system of the whole-life education. He/she will be able to prepare administratively an offer of the whole life education.
