Attention will be paid to the basic terminology of "inclusive" special pedagogy, the historical context of care for persons from the target group of special pedagogy, the formation of special pedagogy as a science. The topic of so-called collaborative education will also be discussed. The individual sub-disciplines will be presented in more detail with regard to the type of disability - psychopediatry, speech therapy, somatopediatry, surdopediatry, typhlopediatry, etopediatry, combined or partial disabilities. Attention will be paid to the different age categories from early childhood and pre-school age, school age (primary, secondary and tertiary education) to adulthood and old age. Other cross-cutting themes will include: the position of special education in the system of disciplines, therapeutic approaches, psychology of disability, social services for people with disabilities, work inclusion, enculturation, technical engineering, comparative special education, etc. Increased attention will be paid to the ethno-pedagogical issues directly in the course, which is listed in the LS timetable. It will focus on the possibilities of applying special pedagogical approaches in educational work.
