Course content
Legal regulations connected with the protection of children and the youth. Social and legal children protection law. Juvenile law jurisdiction.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to introduce the students to the legal regulations connected with the protection of children and the youth. The course builds on the knowledge gained in other courses, especially in the courses focused on social deviation and the law. The special attention will be paid to the social and legal children protection law and juvenile law jurisdiction.
The students will enhance their knowledge in the field of Social and Legal Children Protection with regard to the students´ specialization.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination

Before entering the course the students are required to have passed the course SOPR Attendance at least 80%. A written assignment. Self-study of the obligatory and recommended literature.
