Course content
The choice of a topic; a scholarly problem. Formulation of aims, hypothesis, and thesis. Gradual steps of heuristics. Working with sources. The structure of the content of a project. Quantitative and qualitative methodology. The choice of the methods and forms, according to a topic. The descriptive and empirically researched work. The efficiency of feedback; an assessment. Formal processing of the work - a regulation and a model. Quotations, bibliography, appendixes.

Learning outcomes
The objective of this course is to consult with the students their final thesis regarding the methodological principles of formulating the aims, hypothesis, problems, and overall structure, as well as the form and content of paper.
Particular themes and problems will be discussed during the term. This course will also concentrate on the understanding and mastery of various methodological procedures for processing information, for classification, and for evaluation. Methodological help regarding the processing of individual texts and their formal perfection. Students will learn about authorial law, the principles of review, the opponent's activity, and graphical symbols of an editorial character.

Credit is based on attendance of seminars and writing a paper.
