The objective of this course is to introduce to students the problems of social deviation and the system of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. The student will acquire the basic terms and the specificity of fundamental institutions in the safety social network, and will learn to map and identify socially risky phenomena. The student will be encouraged to think about the problems of norms, social control and their forms, normality, the cause of risky phenomena, and the possibilities and limits of their prevention.
The student will understand the problems. He/she will be able to recognize the signals of socially deviant behaviour and will be able to find a qualified intervention (in easier situations he/she will be able to help by himself/herself).
