Course content
Basics of vector calculus, derivation, integral. System SI . Kinematics. Dynamics. Mechanics of solid body, center of mass. The Newton's gravitations law, field strength, work, potential energy. Law of Archimedes, Pascal's law. Hydrodynamics, continuity equation, Bernoulli's equation. Real liquids, viscosity. Mechanical deformation, tension, Hook's law. Thermal conductivity, Heat capacity, calorimetry. Electrostatics, Coulombs law, electric field. Electric field in matter, polarization of dielectrics. Electric currents, Ohms law, electrical conductivity ? insulator, semiconductor, and conductor. Blackbody radiation, Stefan-Boltzmann's law

It introduce students into key topics of general physics with particular ephasis on mechanical and electrical properties of solids
Subject broadens the high school knowledge and provides students with the basics of physics necessary for study of following subjects. Solution of advanced physical problems.
