Course content
1. Differential of function and higher order differentials. 2. Polynomial approximation of functions. Taylor polynomial. Maclaurin polynomial. 3. Functions of several variables. Graph functions of several variables. Limits and continuity. 4. Partial derivatives. The geometric meaning. Partial derivatives of higher orders. 5. The total differential, tangent plane. 6. Local extremes. (Global extremes. Constrained extrems - Information). 7. Integral Calculus. Special substitution. 8. Improper integrals. 9. Double integral. 10. Applications. 11. Linear differential equations with constant coefficients. 12. Another differential equations of lower orders.

Learning outcomes
The course provides students with basics of multivariable calculus with respect to their study field.
Students wil get acquainted with some parts of multivariable calculus as well as with some applications in physics or chemistry.

Written examination, Student performance assessment

Examination in a written form. It consists of written exam in 6th week and of written exam during the examination period.
