Course content
Content of the subject is morphology wood and wood-pulp. Is Construction of vegetable cell, macrostructure and microstructure of wood. Wood defects, physical and mechanic properties of wood. Structure of cell wall, creation micro fibril and fibril. Characteristic leafy and coniferous wood. Chemist wood and analysis of wood. Cellulose structure and characteristics. Hemicelluloses, structure and characteristics. Lignin, structure and characteristics.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is giving the basic information about morphology and chemistry of wood. Information about types of wood cells ant their function. Basic facts about procedures of chemistry processing of wood. Wood analysis.
Graduate obtain detail knowledge about morphology wood and cellulose. Graduate obtain detail knowledge about chemical structure of wood and analyses.
Prerequisites
A prerequisite for this course is completion of the basic course of mathematics, organic and inorganic chemistry.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation

Basic forms of examination is debate above choice circuits, verification of adoption of knowledge, conception and understanding single capitol of subject. At the end of lecture period is test whose result is include to the general classification.
