Course content
Hydrolysis of chloroform, specification of the reaction conversion Oxidation, waste water treatment using coagulation and flocculation, verification of treatment efficiency Application of carbon dioxide as raw material for production of carboxylic acid. Waste water treatment using precipitation. Production of sulfuric acid, recycling of spent sulfuric acid Diazotation, isolation of diazonium tetrafluoroborate, Waste water treatment using oxidation with pottasium permanganate Waste water treatment contamined by triphenylmethane dye using sorption process.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to introduce students with modern laboratory chemical methods for production of chemicals and for emission minimization.
After finishing of the studies at this subject, absolvents should be able to work in the laboratory in a wide range of industries.

Assessment methods and criteria
Creative work analysis

Level of acquired knowledge, conceptions and application acquirements is examined. Knowledge is examined by test at the end of semester and its result is included into total classification.
