Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
Learning outcomes
The students are acquainted with basic principles and theoretical models of membrane processes, the calculations of membrane apparatuses and exploitation of scientific literature are practised.
The students have mastered the basic principles of membrane technology and its balance calculations.
Prerequisites
Basic physical chemistry, Chemical engineering I
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination
There is an oral examination. Primary form of exam is the debate about selected themes. Level of acquired knowledge, conceptions and application acquirements is examined. Knowledge is examined by test during semester and its result is included into total classification.
