Course content
|
Generally binding legislation on environmental protection. Departmental organisations of the Ministry of the Environment.Environmental law, initial thesis, links to other environmental legislation. Act on Environmental Impact Assessment, IPPC. Water management legislation. Legislation on air protection. Legislation on nature and landscape protection. Legislation on the protection of agricultural land resources and forestry. Legislation in the area of protection of rock environment. Waste management legislation. Legislation on GMOs. International legal context, major international conventions in the field of environmental protection. European Community environmental policy, development of the European Community's environmental policy and its basic principles.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to create a basic idea of the legal regulation of individual components of the environment. The course completes the complex environmental issues presented in the subjects Ecology and Environmental Basics.
After completing the course, the student is able to orientate in the issues of legal regulation of individual components of the environment and in the organization of goverment in the field of environmental protection and creation. Basic environmental legal services are provided for further profesional activities.
