Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Projection
Learning outcomes
The aim of lectures is to explain basics of industrial toxicology, mechanisms of toxic effects of selected industrial chemicals and causes and consequences of main industrial accidents connected with the leak of toxic chemicals
Students should be able to understand the problems of toxic effects of selected groups of indusrtial chemicals. The undertanding of occupational toxicology methodology is supposed as well as the abbility to describe cases and consequences of selected industrial accidents. Knowledge of eesential terms from risk analysis and management is demanded.
Prerequisites
Passing out the subjects Basics of Toxicology and Basics of Ecology or knowledge of corresponding topics

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Didactic test
